Why the Name Dragonfly?

Dragonflies are agile and graceful and are found on all continents except Antarctica. The presence of dragonflies indicates a healthy ecosystem. Dragonflies undergo a metamorphosis, spending up to 5 years as nymphs, before becoming the beautiful, winged creatures that are easily recognized. B.K.S. Iyengar said that yoga students, like dragonflies, are beginners for years, and that “yoga does not change the way we see things; it transforms the person who sees.”
